Job Description: + Collaborates with the Spiritual Care team to provide pastoral care services to patients and their family members. + Responds to urgent situations, (codes or death) at the request or referral of administrative coordinators, nurses, family, etc. + Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. **Job Requirements** In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + Bachelor's degree in spiritual care, arts or equivalent, required + Master's degree in spiritual care or related field, preferred + One (1) unit of CPE or enroll in our internal Clinical Pastoral Orientation and complete 1 unit of CPE within one year + Four (4) units of CPE preferred + Current Board Certified Chaplain documentation, required + One year in pastoral ministry preferred **Where You'll Work** Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation.
