Data Scientist Mid (AI COE) | 7-Eleven

Interview Process :

• 1 st round virtual (30 minutes)
• 2 nd round onsite (1 hour)
• Potential 3 rd round onsite for technical eval/critical thinking (I'm trying to merge this into round 2)

About the Role

scaling its customer personalization and marketing efforts through data-driven insights. This role sits on the AI Center of Excellence and collaborates with Marketing and App/Delivery teams to drive personalized campaigns and product recommendations.

Focus Areas:

• Customer Segmentation: Build, evaluate, and deploy models to identify and target customer segments for personalized experiences.
• Online Controlled Experiments (A/B Testing): Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and other online experiments to measure impact of campaigns, features, and product changes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and ML teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, prototype, and develop AI/ML solutions for customer segmentation and personalized systems.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and other controlled experiments.
• Build, deploy, and analyze AI solutions; perform statistical experiments to validate impact.
• Collaborate across marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement personalization strategies.
• Communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of research, innovation, and engineering quality.
