Now Hiring: Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are a well-established heavy construction firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex heavy highway and water/wastewater treatment plant projects throughout the Philadelphia region.

Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of heavy highway and treatment plant construction projects
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contract requirements
• Prepare progress reports and participate in project meetings

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
• Proven experience with DOT highway projects and/or water/wastewater treatment plants
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and construction means and methods
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
