The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology Department supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. The technologist will be part of an experienced team using Philips rooms and a GE Hybrid room, performing various interventional radiology procedures.
Location:Olympia, Washington, United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate Philips and GE Hybrid rooms.
- Perform patient care duties as required.
- Float between like units as needed.
- Data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Documents patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Coordinates equipment/supply needs. Notifies appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Performs any other related duties (e.g., clerical, technical duties) as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT (R) certification
- Washington State License
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- IR/CV Certification
Special Considerations:
- Floating is required between like units within skill set.
