We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in High Point, NC (27260). In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to precise specifications. Setting up, programming, and operating CNC and/or manual press brake machines.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine material specifications and bend sequences.
Selecting, installing, and aligning the correct dies, punches, and tools for each job.
Making precise adjustments to machine settings to maintain tight tolerances.
Measuring finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify accuracy.
Performing routine machine maintenance and safety checks .
Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
2+ years of hands-on experience operating and setting up press brakes.
Ability to program and modify bend sequences directly at the control panel.
Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and fabrication drawings .
Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of sheet metal properties .
Reliable work history with proven tenure and consistency in previous roles.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
CNC Press Brake setup, operation, and programming.
Blueprint reading and metal fabrication knowledge.
Use of hand tools and measuring devices for inspection.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical issues.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or production efficiency standards (a plus).
