Description: The Quality Vehicle Systems Engineer is integrated into a dynamic and diverse team responsible for acceptance testing of prototype tracked and wheeled military vehicles, including main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role
  • Determine & evaluate test requirements
  • Develop & revise acceptance test procedures
  • Conduct vehicle verification checkouts to establish baseline of test assets
  • Execute functional acceptance test procedures
  • Document status of testing compliances and deficiencies
  • Communicate test results to internal and external customers as required
  • Support other areas of Engineering Quality Assurance as needed/directed
  • Coordinate quality activities in the prototype shop across multiple organizations to ensure vehicle safety, functionality and configuration(s)
Qualifications Sought
  • Engineering degree preferred; Associate Degree and/or significant technical experience also considered
  • 3 to 5 years of experience required
  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
  • Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.
  • Must pass ASR to enter military vehicles
