Valiant Harbor International is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to provide onsite administrative support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Research Directorate (NGA Research), Strategic Partnerships and Communications (SPC) Directorate, in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professionalism, performance, and accountability in supporting NGA Research's SPC Directorate through communications expertise and graphic design.  NGA Research is responsible for performing scientific research and transitioning innovative concepts and capabilities to solve NGA, NSG, Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), IC, and DoD hard problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in publications and other forms of media.
• Experience creating technical writing products for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to editorial and Government specifications and standards for
• quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
• This includes the ability to edit and review documents in accordance with language, style, publication, format, classification, and source standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of work experience.
• BA/BS, MA/MS, or PhD in English, Journalism, or Communications.
• Strong verbal communication skills to articulate and exchange information (requirements, actions, status, etc.).
• Strong written communication skills, command of English language grammar.
• Understanding of sensitive document handling and compliance with a “clean desk” work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting NGA is desired.

Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be willing to sit for CI P oly.

Salary Range: $100k - $110k
