Building Systems Reliability Technician
Location: New Berlin | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | Starting Pay: $27.00–$36.00/hr | Hours: Minimum 45/week; overtime available

Your Mission

Keep our facility operating safely, efficiently, and reliably across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance that supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Advance continuous improvement and sustainability to support company metrics and goals.

Key Outcomes

Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe workplace; follow GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality requirements.
System Readiness: Building systems (lighting, HVAC, plumbing) run to spec with minimal downtime.
Rapid Response: Diagnose and fix issues across electrical (fixtures, fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, breaker panels) and plumbing (faucets, toilets, shut-off valves, ice makers, lines, drains, leaks).
Facilities Care: Keep common areas functional and orderly, including light cleaning and safe movement of heavy items via manual methods or hand trucks.
Project Execution: Install/replace machinery, equipment, and parts with hand/power tools; operate material handling equipment to move and stage materials.

How You’ll Work

Partner with skilled trades and cross-functional teams; jump in where needed to help other groups.
Balance planned PMs with urgent repairs; document work using basic computer tools and Microsoft Office (iPad familiarity a plus).
Bring your own core tool set; work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience & Skills

High school diploma/equivalent; vocational certifications preferred.
2–3 years in facilities within manufacturing (5+ preferred).
Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating machinery.
Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred; sit-down clamp truck is a plus.
Strengths in plumbing, facilities maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting, and boiler troubleshooting.
