Mazza Recycling is a growing leader in the recycling industry, dedicated to building a sustainable future through innovative waste management solutions. As a family-friendly company with a strong commitment to professional development and employee well-being, Mazza offers a collaborative environment where your expertise can make a real impact. The Data Integration Manager plays a key role in unifying financial and operational data across the organization, supporting informed decision-making for operations, sales, and leadership. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong financial acumen and systems integration experience who is eager to drive efficiency and data-driven insights in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration and maintenance of data flows between operational systems, including scales, dispatch, MRF systems, ERP, accounting software, and CRM platforms.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and management reports to support business planning and performance analysis.
  • Support budgeting processes and ongoing reforecasting, providing actionable insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms (such as Datarails), translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and plant managers.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and standardization across all departments, establishing processes for data accuracy, access, and validation.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and controls for data handling, and monitor system updates to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, HR, and Accounting teams to ensure all departments have the data and analytical tools they need.
  • Educate non-financial staff on dashboards, reports, and analytical tools, acting as a liaison between finance and technology partners.
  • Partner with IT, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax teams, providing required documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Assist in record keeping and financial controls, ensuring the security and confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Uphold and exemplify Mazza’s branding, culture, mission, and vision in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience with financial systems, including integration of multiple operational or financial platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data structures, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in the recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality.

Benefits

  • Family-friendly company culture
  • Annual salary increases available
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
  • Paid time off and sick time
  • Professional development opportunities, including training and specialized programs to enhance your career
