Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

As a Delivery Associate at Ascenda Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: DYN7 out of Red Hook, Brooklyn.

• Safely Operate Delivery Vehicles:  Drive a company delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal driving laws, as well as company policies. 
• Deliver Packages Efficiently and On Time:  Load and unload packages into and out of the delivery vehicle with care and efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness and Performance:  Keep the delivery van clean and organized. Refuel the vehicle as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations. 
• Work in All Weather Conditions:  Comfortably and safely drive in various weather conditions.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service:  Represent Ascenda Logistics Inc. with professionalism and a positive attitude always. Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in challenging or stressful situations.
• Utilize Technology for Efficiency:  Use smartphone devices for GPS navigation, package scanning, routing information, customer delivery information, and completing administrative tasks.
• Adapt to a Challenging Environment: Keep pace with the demands of a dynamic and physically challenging role.

Requirements Include:

• M ust be at least 21 years old to be considered for insurance purposes.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required.
• Must be able to communicate well .
• Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs.
• Must be customer oriented with a ‘Safety-Always’ mindset.
• Must be available and willing to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the weekly schedule.
