A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCIs in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.


Schedule : Full-time four 10-hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Compensation : Pay ranges from $36-$48 per hour depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Prepare dialysis machine its alarms and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested

Education/Training:

  • Accredited nursing degree required
  • Dialysis experience not required job shadow opportunities available
