In collaboration with the physician, the Dialysis RN assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population. + Initiating an on-going systematic assessment of patients. + Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient. + Interpreting assessment data and information. + Collaborating with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan. + Performing hemodialysis as prescribed. + Teaching and counseling patients/families. **Qualifications** Minimum requirements: + Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License. + At least one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience + BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
