About Us
Eagle's Wings Retreat Center is a Christ-centered retreat center nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Burnet, Texas. Serving churches and organizations from Austin, San Antonio, Belton, Waco, and beyond, we host retreats for over 225 guests across our two campuses. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide a space for spiritual growth, reflection, and community in a tranquil, natural setting.
Position Summary
As a Grounds and Facilities Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our retreat center remains a welcoming and well-maintained environment. From keeping our grounds pristine to assisting with facility upkeep, your work will directly contribute to the comfort and experience of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of the retreat center grounds, including landscaping, mowing, and general outdoor care.
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks, such as light repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all spaces are ready for guests.
- Support the setup and breakdown of spaces for retreats and events as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to ensure safety and functionality across the property.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used for groundskeeping and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – we welcome individuals eager to learn and contribute!
