General School LPN - High School
Location: Chicopee, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks to Start
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
Amergis Staffing is partnered with a well-respected Job Corps Center in Chicopee, MA seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role supports high school-aged students and ensures the health, safety, and well-being of the student community throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
Perform student intakes once weekly.
Conduct medication administration twice daily.
Provide routine assessments and handle day-to-day triage needs.
Maintain accurate and compliant student health records.
Follow student-specific physician orders.
Support a safe and organized health office environment.
Collaborate with on-site staff regarding student health concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Active LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Ability to pass School CORI and fingerprinting background checks.
Previous school-based or adolescent nursing experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
