  • We are hiring immediately for full time LEAD MECHANICAL INSULATOR positions.
  • Location : Quantum - 5001 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, TX 76106 (Openings at other locations within school district available)  Note: online applications accepted only .
  • Schedule : Full time schedule; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview!
  • Requirement : 10+ years of similar experience required. OSHA 10 or 30 certification required. Knowledge of state/local building codes.
  • Pay Range: $24.00 to $26.00

Job Summary

Summary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks, and other mechanical systems using appropriate materials and methods.
  • Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials accurately to meet job specifications.
  • Secure insulation with adhesives, mechanical fasteners, or jacketing multiple material types.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
  • Lead, direct, and motivate insulation crews to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
  • Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.
