Job Description

A top-tier, employee owned, family first organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager.

The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.

* Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects in a manner that maximizes efficiency and profitability.
* Achieves manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salary employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises production results
* They will work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills
* Needs to be a driver, maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets
* Assigns personnel to accomplish work results; establishes priorities; monitors progress; resolves problems; evaluates employees, and conducts orientation and training of personnel
* Responsible for the safety of all employees and ensures they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position
* Accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures
* Responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel

Qualifications

* Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field
* Experience in with the hydraulics industry strongly preferred
* Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives
* Ability to develop relationships, and foster a team environment
