Qualifications
The restaurant porter is an important position that supports both the back and front of house before, throughout, and after service. This position requires someone who is positive, self-motivated, and a good communicator. Also, stamina, efficiency, and a good work ethic will be important for the position.
What You’ll Do
Properly polishing silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
Removing and replacing glass racks in the dish area.
Help stock server-stations with glassware and silverware.
Help stock chinaware on the expo line.
Remove dirty linen bag throughout service and retrieve clean linen for server and support staff.
Communication with management about glassware, plateware, and silverware shortages
Access stewarding storeroom to maintain pars on plateware, glassware, and flatware
