The Senior Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer will develop, conduct, and analyze inpatient coding training and audit programs. This role supports compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across Fidelis Care's inpatient coding operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute audit processes and tools for inpatient coding.
Design and conduct training sessions for new and existing employees.
Evaluate audit results and recommend process improvements.
Analyze training needs and create learning materials accordingly.
Audit staff performance to ensure compliance with medical necessity and coding standards.
Maintain training records and support policy/procedure updates.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related clinical field (or equivalent experience).
Current state nursing license .
Valid/current CPC, CIC, or CCS certification .
4+ years of experience in nursing, training, or auditing in a managed care healthcare setting.
1+ year of clinical hospital experience.
Strong written English communication skills.
Preferred: Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
