🌟 Hello! We are seeking a patient, friendly and creative Speech Language Pathology Assistant who loves working with children to welcome to our dedicate Superstar team!. In this fulfilling position, you have the opportunity to provide treatment to each client to enhance their speech and language development in a warm, nurturing environment.

You will collaborate with families and other professionals to create a fun and effective learning environment for each child.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a plan of care to address each client's specific needs
• Provide direct therapy services to clients and monitor their progress
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents and/or caregivers
• Complete weekly lesson plans for each client
• Document therapy sessions and each client's progress accurately in the electronic health records system
• Stay current with the best practices in speech language pathology

Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

*In the process of obtaining a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology

or

Have a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology

*Pass a criminal background check

*Excellent organizational skills

*Excellent communication skills

*Excellent problem solving skills
